Language Features of Caption Text 

A caption text is written in present tense and active voice. Don't forget to include credit for the photographer of the picture. 

Caption often uses prepositional, infinitive, adjectival and present participle phrases. 

Present participles are similar to gerund. Both have the same form (verb-ing), but have different functions. A gerund acts like a noun while a present participle acts like a verb or adjective.

Explanation: 

The photo was taken at graduation. I graduated from junior high school SMPN 2 Jakarta in batch 2019. on June 28 at Pertamina Building in Cempaka Putih.  On my right is my homeroom teacher, his name is Mr. Nur Arofik. On the left is the principal of SMPN 2 Jakarta, he is Mr. Sayuti.  

My friends and i are very happy and also sad. Happy because we managed to pass our education in junior high school, and sad because of separation from teachers or friends. This graduation is the end of our struggle to pass the school exams, and is a new beginning to take the next level to Senior High school.
